The Food Chain: Connecting Stories of Food and Us is a Friendtorship project exploring food, community, and identity that includes an installation of banners with food stories and artwork collaboratively designed by Portland State University students Walt Morey Middle School students, as well as a lunchtime event on November 16 centered around student food stories, connecting through food and participatory artmaking and food stories from local food carts and restaurants in the area around Montgomery Plaza.

Friendtorship brings together Portland State University art and design students and local middle and high school students to collaborate on creative projects, build strong relationships, and have fun.
