Join La Casa Latina Student Center and JSMA at PSU for an afternoon of collaborative art-making using the medium of collage. Led by multimedia artist Jay Lynn Gomez, the workshop will explore themes related to Gomez’s work featured in JSMA at PSU’s current exhibition, Labor of Love. Gomez’s work addresses issues of immigration and making visible the “invisible” labor forces that are essential to our everyday lives. Come prepared to engage creatively with the artist and your peers.
This workshop is free and open to all PSU students. Programming held in collaboration with PSU’s La Casa Latina Student Center, Queer Resource Center, and Trans Women's Community Project at the Women's Resource Center.
