CETI Workshop: Intro to Blender - Creating Forests

Saturday March 22nd 2025 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Learn how you can use Blender, a free, open-source 3D graphics creation pipeline to create imaginative spatial objects and experiences.

We will be creating a computationally-economic forest scene that could be used for animation or video game projects in Blender and will be covering the basic concepts of Blender 3D such as: sculpting, materials, weight painting, non-destructive workflows, lighting, rendering, and how to install an add-on.

Materials: A laptop with Blender installed. Bring ideas, questions, and your own experiments if you have any.

Prerequisites: All are welcome.

Instructor: TJ Orloski
