Join the School of Architecture on Friday, October 6, to hear from the student team responsible for the creation of the Cherry Hill Stage, one of the performance venues at the 2023 music festival. They will walk us through the design process, installation, and experience of the design-build.

What is Pickathon?

Our PSU Architecture program maintains a long-time friendship and collaboration with the Pendarvis Pickathon event. Mentored by Architecture faculty member Travis Bell, this annual student-led design project explores design-build methodologies through the construction of a full-scale project meant for public engagement, resulting in an innovative Pickathon creation! This year, as the students worked collectively to navigate constructional studies, client meetings, consultant meetings, construction timelines, project management, and so much more, they  masterminded a new and unique concept to engage with the concert-goers of Pickathon and the landscape as a whole.

What is ArchiLecture?

On most Fridays at 1:00 p.m. during the academic term, PSU School of Architecture students and faculty gather to hear from professional designers and architects, academics, visiting artists, innovators, and students in the program. ArchiLecture is a perfect way to wrap up each week of intense creativity in the studio and get inspired for the productive weekend ahead.

Free and open to the public. All are welcome!
