Before transitioning to her role as Office Manager of the Disability Resource Center in 2016, Sarah worked as a student employee in the DRC as an Alternative Formats Technician and Classroom Assistant for blind and visually impaired students. Having returned to complete her education as a lifelong adult learner who experiences anxiety and depression, Sarah understands the importance of creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient experience for students visiting the DRC. Outside of the DRC Sarah serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors for Oregon Association for Higher Education and Disability (ORAHEAD) and is pursuing a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Oregon State University.
