Through the Coast to Classroom program, educators work alongside PSU faculty to study marine systems. This immersive experience helps teachers bring authentic scientific inquiry back to their local students. Future Teachers Build Brains to Learn How Children Read Students in PSU’s College of Education are using clay brain models to master the science of reading. By understanding how neural pathways develop, these future elementary teachers learn to provide research-based literacy instruction. The redesigned program prepares educators to help every child build a strong foundation for reading. PSU-OHSU Center Awarded $1.25M to Support Behavioral Health for Older Adults A new federal grant will help the PSU-OHSU Oregon Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health & Aging launch a statewide program for older Oregonians.
