Tim Roby is the PMO Manager for the EIS PMO and brings nearly 15 years of experience as a public sector Business Analyst. He earned his CBAP certification in 2017 and has held a variety of senior roles across state agencies. Most recently, he served as the Senior Enterprise Business Analyst for EIS’s Project Portfolio Performance (P3) team. Before that, he was the Lead Transformation Business Analyst for the Oregon DMV’s core system replacement and modernization project, and earlier in his career, he supported the Oregon Health Authority’s Behavioral Health Measures and Outcomes Tracking System (MOTS) as a Business Analyst. Before entering state service, Tim worked at the Bonneville Power Administration in a role that included Business Analyst responsibilities.
Tim is an Army Reserve Civil Affairs veteran with linguist skills, one Iraq deployment, one Joint International training mission to Thailand, and a Home-station Family Readiness mobilization under his belt. In 9 years as a Reservist, he served 4.5 years on Active Duty orders. He also worked a civilian job within the unit for a few years. Tim is a career BA who is very passionate about advancing the practice of BA in state government and helping ALL BAs develop and create meaningful value for their organizations.
