Michelle Parks is a senior at Portland State University, completing her B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis on organizational systems, leadership, and community impact. For Community Environmental Services, she supports the Regional Waste Plan Multifamily Indicator Study, conducting field assessments across the Metro region and contributing to research that strengthens waste infrastructure for multifamily housing. Michelle is particularly interested in the intersection of sustainability, urban systems, and the built environment. She will begin PSU’s Master of Science in Real Estate program in Fall 2026, where she plans to focus on commercial and mixed-use development with an emphasis on sustainable urban strategy. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, listening to music, and parenting her set of fraternal twins— a boy and a girl.
