Huda Alkitkat is the Estimates Program Manager for the Population Research Center. She surveys Oregon’s cities and counties annually to document housing unit changes as well as producing population estimates per annum. She holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics and Demography, is an accomplished statistician and demographer of 20 years and represents the state of Oregon in interactions with the U.S. Census Bureau. Alkitkat has collaborated with numerous international bodies, including the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, the Max Plank Institute for Demographic Research, and UNESCO.
