Anthony King is an award-winning journalist, editor and reviewer who serves as the Adjunct Research Assistant for the Population Research Center, Within the PRC, he oversees the production and implementation of communications materials and online output, the revamp of the Center’s website and on-site improvements to the Center’s suite located within the CUPA building.  Prior to joining the PRC, King produced, edited, and hosted the PDXplores podcast for PSU’s Research and Graduate Studies department. His articles, interview and reviews have appeared in Street Roots, ElevenPDX, The Sacramento News & Review, Midtown Monthly, Sacramento Parent Magazine, and Chunklet Magazine. King is the recipient of National Parent Media Association’s Gold Award for newswriting and interviewing and a Critical Review Award from Journalism Association of Community Colleges for film review. King received his bachelor’s degree in Arts & Letters from Portland State University. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting more vinyl records than he has space for, producing and co-hosting an up-coming podcast discussing music and soundtracks in film, and working on his first novel.
