Join us this Friday as we welcome back four of our alumni from years past: Rob Wilson, Nada Maani, Molly Jacobs, and Nick Pectol. These four will each be talking about what their thesis projects were while they were in school at PSU, along with insights that have helped develop them in their careers now.
Rob Wilson is an Architect working for Scott Edwards Architecture. He holds a bachelor's in psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master of architecture from Portland State University.
Nada Maani is a Senior Associate and Architect at Opsis, where she works to empower communities through architectural design. Nada's goal is to design with and for all people.
Molly Jacobs is an Associate and Architect at Integrus + YGH Architecture. She earned a bachelor's in fine/studio arts from the University of South Florida and a master of architecture from Portland State University.
Nick Pectol is an Associate and Architectural Designer at Hacker Architects. He specializes in libraries, cultural projects, houses, and mass timber.
What is Friday@1?
On most Fridays at 1 p.m. during the academic term, PSU School of Architecture students and faculty gather to hear from professional designers and architects, academics, visiting artists, innovators, and students in the program. Friday@1 is a perfect way to wrap up each week of intense creativity in the studio and get inspired for the productive weekend ahead.
Free and Open to the public. All are welcome.
