April PSU Technical Communication Meetup: Alumni Panel

You are invited to the PSU Technical Communication Meetup. The purpose of the meetup is to create community around technical communication at PSU for students, staff, alums, prospective students and community friends.

In April we have three special guests joining us for an MPTW alumni panel. Each member of the panel is a graduate of PSUs Master's in Professional and Technical Writing and will share their experience since graduation. Our special guest panelists are:

• Casey Aschauer is a 2019 graduate. She has been a technical writer in several industries including aerospace, infrared imaging, athletic apparel, and most recently at Amazon contributing to their Just Walk Out tech.  She lives in White Salmon with her husband and will enthusiastically show you pictures of her corgi if you ask.
• Judy Fisher is a 2022 graduate and currently works as a technical writer at Workato.
• Lauren Punales is a 2022 graduate. She is a technical writer who prioritizes transparency and user advocacy in her work with documenting analytic products and data assets at Kaiser Permanente and currently lives in south Florida. 

The in-person event will happen on the PSU Campus in the English Department Large Conference room (FMH 302). Hot pizza will be served (pizza hot at 5:15)!
