Stacey Steel is a Research Speech-Language Pathologist in Dr. Gerasimos Fergadiotis' PSU Aphasia Lab. Her primary role is to recruit and coordinate research for the lab's NIH-funded study focused on developing a computer-adaptive confrontation naming test to assess the nature and severity of anomia in people with aphasia. To do so, she coordinates community outreach efforts to engage people with aphasia and their healthcare providers. She previously worked in inpatient rehab medical settings and private practice outpatient clinics serving children and adults.
