Kyle Isaacson

Kyle (he/him) is a Staff Psychologist at PSU SHAC. After growing up in Central Washington, Kyle spent several years skipping back and forth between the Pacific Northwest and Southern California earning degrees in Psychology (B.A., Pepperdine University), Marriage and Family Therapy (M.S., Seattle Pacific University), and Clinical Psychology (M.A. & Ph.D., Fuller School of Psychology). He completed his APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the University of Southern California, and postdoctoral residency at Portland State University SHAC. He’s been on staff at SHAC since 2017.

Kyle’s clinical interests include, attachment and relationships, training and supervision, Emotion-Focused Therapy, psychological evaluation for immigration petitions, and the philosophical bases for psychotherapy practice. He’s committed to learning and growing so as to offer more just and equitable services.

When not at SHAC you can find Kyle playing sports with his family (at the beach!), watching movies, baking cookies, wishing the Seattle Mariners were better at baseball, and refining his home espresso recipe.
