Jennifer H. Allen, PhD, is a Portland Professor of Environment and Natural Resources in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government. Jennifer served as the Director of Portland State’s Institute for Sustainable Solutions from 2012-2015, and has previously worked at the World Bank, Ecotrust, and the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department. She currently serves on the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Commission, on the prospective board of the Elliott State Research Forest, and is also on the Fulbright Program Specialist Roster.  Jennifer has served on the boards of the Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences, the World Forestry Center, Oregon Forest Resources Institute, Shorebank Pacific, Portland Energy Conservation Inc., Illahee, the Portland Sustainability Institute, Friends of Forest Park, and the Food Alliance.
