PSU Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science

Join the largest Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate program in the Pacific Northwest and accelerate your career with a master’s or doctoral degree. The ECE graduate programs welcome and propel students from around the world into career advancement and provide the specialization necessary for competitive jobs in engineering.

We offer:
Valuable work experience through internships. We have established a Cooperative Education Option in which students can receive academic credit for engineering work experience. ECE students have interned with Intel, Apple, Tesla, Amazon, startups in Portland, and many other companies both locally and across the country.

Expert faculty who bring the best research and real-life perspectives into the classroom. Our faculty tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues. They design applications and develop systems for ensuring security, privacy, utility, ease-of-use. They protect the power grid, develop new sensors to treat Parkinson’s disease, and use machine learning to solve problems ranging from air and water pollution monitoring to geothermal energy prospecting. You will learn to develop technologies to make your own unique impact on society.

Our "Westside Program" in Beaverton where graduate courses are offered in technical areas that are relevant to engineers working at neighboring technology companies who are looking for professional development. Sufficient courses are also offered to meet the degree requirements for our master's program without having to take time off from work during the day or having to travel to downtown Portland.

Students with a bachelor's degree in a field other than electrical or computer engineering can join our Postbac Bridge Program to gain the knowledge necessary to go straight into our master's program. Students are able to complete a master of science degree in approximately the same time that would normally be required to complete a second bachelor of science degree.

Our alumni are impacting the world through the development of technology. Join them in this growing and rewarding field.
