Virtual Viking is a weekly email featuring news and events that contribute to the academic success of PSU students and enhance their college experience. PSU students are automatically subscribed to Virtual Viking for each term they are enrolled. If you are not a current student and would like to receive Virtual Viking, subscribe below.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Email virtualv@pdx.edu or click the link below to make a submission.

News submissions

News submissions are limited to about 80 words, must include a horizontal image (600 x 400 pixels) and a link for more information. Items accepted for publication will be edited for style, clarity and length.

Event Submissions

Events are published in a calendar format with event name and a link to the event for more details. We cannot use direct Zoom links or links that do not include any event information.

Deadlines and Schedule

Virtual Viking is published every Monday during the fall, winter and spring academic terms.

Deadline: Tuesday at noon, the week before publication.

Please be aware that if your item is not time sensitive, it may be moved to a week with more space. Virtual Viking publishes on Mondays, unless the university is closed for a holiday in which case it publishes on the next school day.
