Dr. Lemmy Meekisho is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department in the Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science at Portland State University. Dr. Meekisho’s technical specialties include numerical modeling and simulation of thermal-mechanical behavior of materials processes with Finite Element Analysis; Programming, data analysis, and visualization with MATLAB.
Dr. Meekisho is a member of the Heating and Cooling Committee in the American Society for Metals, a member of ASTM International and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Materials Performance and Characterization, a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in the Electrical and Electronics Packaging Division, and a member of the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering.
