Erin Bransford was born and raised in Napa, California, and moved to Portland, Oregon, in September 2009 after being offered the position of Fitness & Health Promotion Coordinator for PSU Campus Rec.

Erin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Minor in Exercise and Sports Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University. She has been certified as a Group Fitness Instructor since 2006, a Personal Trainer since 2008, and a Health Coach since 2018.

In her free time Erin enjoys spending time with her two young daughters Conner and Sierra, her husband Kevin, and her dog Buddy. She especially enjoys time spent with her family outdoors taking dog walks around the neighborhood, hiking, camping, and playing outdoor table tennis or lawn games. Running, cycling, weight lifting, and joining in Group X classes are also hobbies of hers. When she isn’t active, Erin likes to cheer for the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland A’s, and watch Survivor.
