Dr. David Turcic is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department in the Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science at Portland State University. Dr. Turcic's technical specialties include dynamics, controls, analysis and design of high-speed mechanical systems, system design, motion synthesis for manufacturing and material handling processes, robotics, computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing, geometric modeling, and experimental methods.

Dr. Turcic's current research areas are high-performance control systems, and design and implementation of experimental testing systems for a variety of different types of mechanical devices.
