Resident Tuition for the Western States
In addition to Oregon residents, residents of Alaska, American Samoa (AS), Arizona, California, Colorado, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Federal States of Micronesia (FSM), Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), the Republic of Palau (PW), South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming may qualify to receive resident tuition through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) & Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP).
Washington Border Policy
Washington residents living in approved counties may qualify to pay a reduced tuition rate equal to 110% of standard resident tuition. Admitted graduate applicants are automatically considered. No separate application is required.
