About Open for Business

Open for Business is a forum for Portland’s LGBTQIA+ business community. Our mission is to serve and support LGBTQIA+ leaders, professionals and community members. We create spaces to manifest the social, environmental and economic business solutions central to the Portland community and beyond.

We are solution-oriented. At Open for Business, we strive to catalyze collaboration and conversation through our annual event, professional development, resource sharing and the Out in Business Scholarship.

Help us support LGBTQ+ student success

We are proud to offer the Out in Business Scholarship through the Graduate Business Programs at The School of Business. Scholarships will be awarded through the standard scholarship applications for all students, and donations help support this effort. If you want to support the success of LGBTQIA+ business students, you can donate to the Out in Business Scholarship fund through The PSU Foundation.
