At Portland State's The School of Business, we are committed to transforming lives through education. The Student Hardship Fund provides critical assistance, helping students stay on track without accumulating additional debt.
With an average award of less than $2,000, these funds address immediate needs such as internet access, textbooks, health insurance, and food security—needs that can make or break a student's ability to succeed.
Your support directly empowers our students to overcome these obstacles and achieve their dreams of earning a degree.
Every dollar makes a difference:
- $50 covers one month of internet for remote learning
- $250 provides food for one month
- $420 purchases textbooks for a term
- $930 ensures health insurance coverage for a term
- $1,800 fulfills an average hardship request
