PSU MBA Students for the Win: The Center for Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition

Winner of competition
Finalist from CleanTeach Challenge and Everyday Entrepreneurs.

Congratulations to our MBA students participating in this year’s Center for Entrepreneurship Pitch competition event. The event, hosted by the PSU Center for Entrepreneurship, included two separate entrepreneurial pitch competitions. Our MBA teams skillfully presented their innovative ideas that resulted in MBA student teams winning first and second place winners for both competitions.

The first, the CleanTech Challenge is a cross discipline competition focused on solving the most significant issues faced by our community. Students use tools such as design thinking, business modeling and market research to arrive at the prototype stage. The two winning teams will represent PSU during the Invent Oregon competition.

The second pitch was for The Everyday Entrepreneurs program, a 10-week program open to all PSU students to explore and test their unique business ideas, focusing on the lean startup process. This is a new program developed by the Center to support students developing business models and strategies for implementation.

Congratulations to all of the students who participated, and a huge thank you to the Center for Entrepreneurship for providing these experiences to our students.
