The Portland State University Net Impact chapter is designed to support student growth as sustainability stewards and professionals. The organization aims to connect students interested in sustainability and impact with the networks, resources, and opportunities to propel their experiences and expertise in the field of sustainability.
Net Impact focuses on the following three pillars:
1. Career Events: Immerse yourself in networking and professional panel events tailored specifically for careers in sustainability and impact. Gain insights, connect with industry experts, and chart career prospects.
2. B Impact: Explore ways to operationalize sustainability within business while gaining valuable hands-on consulting experience. Work alongside a student group to guide and support a local business in the process of B Corp (re)certification.
3. Community Action Days: Join us in making a tangible impact in our community through organized volunteer opportunities. Collaborate with like-minded individuals and put your sustainability ideals into action.
