MEET WITH MICHAEL HAVLIK

Do you have questions about the program?

Michael is happy to help students who are interested in property management, and who want to:

  • understand degree requirements
  • explore career paths in real estate and property management
  • plan their courses
  • gain access to PSU's real estate club (REEL)

He is also here to help students who have issues or petitions regarding academic standing and can refer you to helpful campus services. Contact Michael at mhavlik@pdx.edu with any questions or to schedule an in-person discussion. His office hours are M, T, Th from 9am-3pm.  

Michael Havlik has 30 years of experience working with property management in both private and public sectors. He holds a Real Estate Principal Broker License in Oregon and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management. 

 

MEET WITH A BUSINESS ADVISOR

The School of Business provides professional advisors to help you with academic and career advising. Advisors are available to assist with university general education and degree requirements, exploring career paths, course planning, academic standing issues and petitions, and they can also refer you to helpful campus services.

Express Advising

Express Advising is held virtually over Zoom. Express Advising is here to offer you a chance to pose one or two specific questions about your course plan, registering for classes, account holds, academic requirements or situational next steps. Express advising is typically limited to about 15 minutes per student. 

  • During express advising hours, use this Zoom link to be connected.
  • Please be prepared with your Student ID number, Degree Type (BA or BS?) and major.

HOURS*:

Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

*Express Advising will be CLOSED on the following days/times: 11/23, 2:00 - 3:00 pm, 12/23, 2:00 - 3:00 pm and the week of 12/26 - 12/30, both morning and afternoon times.

PLEASE NOTE: Express advising does not take the place of your appointment with your designated advisor. Be sure to schedule those well in advance and on a regular basis.
