Center for Retail Leadership - Scholarships

Scholarships are available for students enrolled in the Food, Beverage & Goods Leadership Certificate, and the Athletic & Outdoor Industry Certificate. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in PSU and the certificate program during the 2022-23 academic year. Applications are open April 18-29. Apply today!

Scholarships Available:

• FB&G: Awards up to $5000
• A&O: Awards up to $2000

Deadline: Friday, April 29, 2022. 10:00 am PST. Students who have not received funding in the past are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible you must be enrolled in the Food, Beverage & Goods (FB&G) Leadership Certificate. Applications are accepted throughout the academic year. The scholarship application can be found here. In addition, you may want to explore other scholarship opportunities outside FB&G. The PSU School of Business awards over $300,000 in scholarships every year to undergraduate, post-baccalaureate and graduate students across all disciplines. If you have financial need, make sure you submit an application using PSU's online scholarship system before the deadline of February 1. The scholarship application deadline is on February 1 preceding the academic year that you are applying for (i.e. for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. Beginning Fall 2022), the deadline to apply would be February 1, 2022. Applications open in October but give yourself plenty of time. The more effort you put in, the more likely you will get a scholarship.

WAFC Scholarship

Thanks to the generosity of the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC), we are pleased to offer several scholarships of up to $2,500 each to students enrolled in our Pre-bacc Consumer Retail Certificate. 

WAFC Scholarship Applications will be reviewed after the November 30, 2020 deadline and financial need will be taken into consideration.

The scholarship application deadline is on February 1 preceding the academic year you are applying for (i.e., for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. Beginning Fall 2022); the deadline to apply would be February 1, 2022. Applications open in October but give yourself plenty of time. The more effort you put in, the more likely you will get a scholarship.

Illuminator Scholarship

Students are eligible for an Illuminator Scholarship they are a full-time college student with one or more years of undergraduate or graduate work remaining, or an adult returning to college to further their career within the food industry.
