The Career Center - One Year in Business!

Career Center Community Event

The School of Business Career Center celebrated its one-year anniversary. The Career Center provides all business students with an innovative case management approach to career coaching. It is personalized and targeted to help students achieve their career goals. Each coach has a caseload of students based in their major and this allows students to receive customized guidance.

Coaches also have more knowledge about their major industries, which allows students to get focused support in their one-on-one coaching appointments. Coaches also visit key classes in their to connect with students in the classroom because that's where they are most often engaged. Students have access to free business attire through the Clothing Closet located in the Karl Miller Center to use for interviewing or for their new job.

These are a few of the ways The School of Business Career Center innovates the student experience from the classroom to workplace. It is just another area where we remove barriers to help students increase their future economic and social mobility.
