A WORKING RELATIONSHIP – YOUR ORGANIZATION AND PSU
The Capstone BA 495, Business Strategy: The Formulation and Implementation of Business/Organization Strategies, brings together both company and student teams. For two decades these capstone relationships have continued to help regional organizations thrive.
Why partner with The School of Business
The relationship between the organization and PSU is built and structured around interdisciplinary student teams working directly with your organization to identify your organization’s strengths and weaknesses while developing a comprehensive written business plan.

Purpose
Students with different business majors work together to apply all of their academic business coursework and test their core competencies in a real-world project with a real-world client. Students experience and respond to the same risks and uncertainties that their client faces daily under the guidance of the course instructor (who has professional consulting experience).
Goal
The goal is to take students (from marketing to finance) from the classroom and into real-world business situations. Students use the knowledge learned at PSU, and consult and work with you and your organization. The course's final weeks feature team presentations of their business plans, with the most effective programs being selected for presentation to the external client.
