  1. Anita L. Bright, Curriculum and Instruction faculty, co-presented a workshop titled “Mirror, Mirror: A Journey into Self-Reflection and Identity” at the TEFL Kuwait conference in Kuwait City, Kuwait. 
  2. Scott Burns, Geology faculty emeritus, gave a keynote talk on Terroir of Wine in Oregon on Feb. 13 at the Oregon Wine Symposium at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
  3. William J. Comer, World Languages and Literatures faculty, presented the paper “The Problem of 'I don't know if'” on Feb. 17 at the National Meeting of the American Association of the Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages in Las Vegas.
  4. Kimberly Kahn, Psychology faculty, presented a talk titled “Racial bias in Twitter tweets about #BlackLivesMatter versus #Capitol Insurrection,” on Feb. 8-10 at the Society of Personality and Social Psychology Conference in San Diego.
  5. Marie Lo, English faculty, presented “Carceral Craft: Exclusion and the Paperwork of the Golden Venture Detainees” on Feb. 15 at the College Arts Association conference in Chicago.
