WLL Undergraduate Study Abroad Scholarship
This scholarship supports study in a term, semester or yearlong study abroad program with an explicit language component.

Criteria
You must meet the following requirements:
- Full-time PSU student
- Completion of at least 90 credits (junior standing)
- Completing of at least 12 credits of a world language at PSU
- 3.0 overall GPA
- 3.4 GPA in all WLL classes
- Financial need
- Proposed study abroad program must be approved by PSU Education Abroad Office that takes place in a non-English-speaking country and has an explicit language component
Application
Your application must contain the following materials:
- Completed WLL online scholarship application
- Transcripts of all course work (can be unofficial);
- Essay with your language of study, international experience to date, plans to study abroad, and how your studying abroad experience will affect your future plans; and
- Two letters of recommendation, at least one of which must be from PSU language faculty.
Farrens Endowed Scholarship for Overseas Study
This scholarship provides financial support to a student who might not otherwise be able to afford a study abroad trip of a term, semester or year to a non-English-speaking country. Although not required, we hope that students who receive this award will find a way to pay it forward by giving in some way to those PSU students who come after them.

- Attendance of a study abroad program approved by PSU Education Abroad Office that takes place in a non-English-speaking country and that has an explicit language component
