Christina Kreft-Tengblad is a native of Sweden and received her MA from the University of Gothenburg (Education) and the University of Lund (Swedish and English), Sweden.
She has taught first- and second-year Swedish at Portland State University since 2007 and has been involved in the Swedish School in Portland as a teacher and as a board member. She has also been the Camp Director of the Swedish Language and Cultural Camp, Trollbacken since 2003. Tina Kreft-Tengblad actively participates in Scandinavian events in the Portland area and works as a freelance translator.
