  1. David Ervin, environmental management and economics faculty emeritus and Institute for Sustainable Solutions senior fellow, received the 2021 Public Service Award from the Weed Science Society of America for outstanding scientific outreach activities in advancing public understanding of the scientific principles of weeds.
  2. Gina Greco, world languages and literatures faculty, has been elected co-president of the executive committee of the Modern Language Association of America's Association of Departments of Foreign Languages.
  3. Ted Khoury, business faculty, has been invited to join the editorial board of Group & Organization Management (GOM), a peer-reviewed and bi-monthly journal published by Sage. GOM publishes the work of scholars and professionals who extend management and organization theory and address the implications for practitioners. 
  4. Ryan Petteway, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, was a guest on “Public Health Poetry” on BYU Radio/Sirius XM 143’s Top of Mind with Julie Rose to discuss COVID-19, public health and poetry.
  5. Ryan Petteway, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, was interviewed for “Can Urban Universities Be Better Neighbors?” by ASBMB Today.
