Add a Language Minor
Get an edge
No matter what you are majoring in, adding a minor in a foreign language will spice up your resume and boost your chance of getting a job. Employers love to hire multilingual people in any profession.
Our department offers a diverse array of languages including Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTLs), which are in high demand due to their strategic importance.
Choose from any of our 12 minors:
- American Sign Language
- Classical Studies
- Modern Hebrew
Want to get a minor but think it might take too long? Think twice! You can get a minor in any of the above languages (except Classical Studies) by completing 20 upper-division credits in language, literature, or culture and 4 credits in general linguistics or phonetics.
