New Rates Starting in the New Year

Dear Campus Rec members and friends,

Due to increases in wages and other operational costs, Campus Rec is increasing some of our rates in the new year. We have worked to keep our rates low since the Rec Center opened in 2010, and have managed to keep any rate increases to a minimum—in most cases, we have only raised the rates once in the past 12 years. Starting January 1, 2023, there will be an increase in the rates listed below. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Campus Rec Membership

Membership rates will increase for the following membership types:

  • Alumni
  • Senior Adult Learner
  • Plus-One

PSU students, faculty and staff will not experience any rate increases at this time. Youth and guest rates will also remain the same. Visit the Member Services webpage for more information.

Personal Training

Personal training rates will increase for individual and buddy packages. All training sessions are 60 minutes in duration. Personal Training packages are non-refundable and expire six months after the date of purchase. Visit the Personal Training webpage for more information.

Intramural Play Pass

The Intramural (IM) Play Pass will gradually increase over the next year. By purchasing a term/annual IM Play Pass, Campus Rec members can play in any and all Intramural leagues offered in a term/year, which consist of a four-week season, followed by one night of playoffs for the top four teams in each division. Check out our winter term leagues, now open for registration!

  • Annual: $25/year (only available fall term)

For overnight trips, we also provide food and camp sites. Visit the Outdoor Trips webpage for more information.

Outdoor Gear Rentals

Rental rates for Outdoor Program gear rentals will be increasing. We provide a wide variety of gear—from hiking boots and rain jackets to cross-country skis and rafts—to help you get outside. Our rates for Campus Rec members are generally 50% lower than what you would find at another retailer.

Adult Swim Clinics

The cost of adult swim clinics will be increasing from $7 per session ($28 per clinic) to $9 per session ($36 per clinic). Swim clinics include four sessions and up to four participants, all of whom are interested in working on a specific aspect of swimming. Participants receive specialized instruction in a small group setting. For more information, visit our Lessons & Clinics webpage.
