Summer Housing for PSU Students

PSU Housing stays open all summer! Whether you are a new resident, or have been living with us all year, you're welcome to complete a Summer Housing Contract through the Housing Portal to live with us during the summer.

New Residents

Eligibility: New residents moving into campus housing for summer must enroll in four or more credits in the summer term to be eligible to live on campus.
Options: This page showcases options for new housing assignments for PSU students living on campus in the summer term. These options are located in Broadway, Blumel, Epler and Ondine halls.

Current Residents

Eligibility: Students living on campus during the spring term may live on campus during summer term without enrolling in classes, even if they are graduating at the end of spring term.
Options:
1. Renewal: Residents who renew their room for the following academic year will stay in the same unit.
2. New assignments: Students whose space is closed in summer will receive a new assignment in one of the options on this page after completing their summer housing contract.

Summer Guests

We also welcome conference, group, and intern guests to live with us in summer, who will stay in our designated Summer Housing & Conferences spaces.

New! Ondine Summer Units

We are excited to announce that a limited number of spaces in Ondine will be available from June 20 - September 5, 2026.

We have heard from residents that they want Ondine open in the summer, and we are making it happen!

Residents already living in Ondine during the spring term will have the opportunity to move to a new building for the summer OR can opt to live in an Ondine Summer Unit. To make this work, we will need Ondine residents to move to a temporary unit for the week between spring and summer terms before transferring to their Ondine summer room.

At the end of summer, residents who will continue living in Ondine for the 26-27 academic year will easily transfer to their fall unit on September 5. Ondine summer units will not be available between September 7-24.

All studio suites are furnished with an XL twin bed, desk, desk chair, and dresser for each resident. Units may be doubles or singles, with suites shared between 3 to 4 people.

The 15-story high-rise has spectacular views of Mt. Hood and downtown. Victor's, the on campus dining space, a television lounge, and University Success.

Kitchenette has stove, oven and mini fridge

Suites share a bathroom and kitchen facilities with an adjoining apartment. Suites are assigned to like genders only. Amenities include laundry facilities, small refrigerator and range/oven in suite units.

Ondine Hall

Amenities: Summer units will be located on upper floors. Studio suites have shared bathroom (shower only) and kitchen (stove/oven, mini-refrigerator) with the adjacent room. Carpet floors, wireless and wired ethernet, 1st floor television lounge, parking. Lounges on every floor. Laundry rooms on floors 3, 5, 7, 9 and 14. Victors Dining Hall located on the first floor.

Studio Suites

Ondine

Includes a shared suite-style kitchen (stove/oven and mini-fridge) and bathroom (shower only). Unit occupancy of one to two students; suite occupancy of three to four students. Floor plan shows two units, which make up a suite. Assigned to like genders only. 250 Square feet.

Furnished Studio

Broadway has single and double occupancy furnished studios. All units are furnished with XL Twin bed, desk, dresser, desk chair for each resident.

Main living area looking back toward entry

All utilities, plus high speed internet, are included in the cost of housing.

Kitchenette has stovetop only (no oven) and mini-fridge. Excellent storage in kitchenette area. Bike hook available in entry storage area.

Opposite the kitchenette is another storage area, often used for a microwave (not provided).

Private bathroom has a standing shower.

Furnished One Bedroom

The ultimate apartment style living for students is in Blumel Hall. A campus favorite, this building is located just steps from the streetcar.

Blumel Hall consists of spacious one-bedroom apartments featuring large windows and modern kitchens. Blumel Hall also has a lounge area for students with tables, chairs, couches, vending, and television.

Units are furnished with standard twin beds, desks, dressers, desk chairs, bar stools. Sofa and dining table not provided. All utilities and high speed internet are included in the cost of housing.

Amenities include: laundry facilities, stainless steel range/oven, full-size refrigerator, full-size bathtub with shower. These are spacious one-bedroom apartments featuring large windows and modern kitchens.

Open Floor Plan Kitchen with stainless appliances

Full-size stainless steel oven/range and full-size refrigerator. Sink in kitchen area. Plenty of cupboard storage. Open floor plan allows you to pass food items through to main living area.

Blumel bathrooms have bathtub and shower. Private bathroom.
