 - Sayan Bandyapadhyay, Computer Science faculty, received a $162,970 grant from the National Science Foundation for the research “AF: Small: New Challenges and Approaches in Clustering Algorithms.”
 - Andrew Black, Engineering and Computer Science faculty emeritus, was awarded the 2023 "Test of Time" award.
 - David Burnett, Electrical & Computer Engineering faculty, received a $27,854 grant from the Schmidt Family Foundation for the research “Development of a NanoCTD Prototype for Oceanographic Use.”
 - Wu-Chang Feng, Computer Science faculty, and Ameeta Agrawal, Computer Science faculty, received a $262,900 grant from the National Science Foundation for their research “Education DCL:EAGER: Re-imagining the Role of Humans in Security Education.”
 - Miguel Figliozzi, Civil & Environmental Engineering faculty, received two grants from the Oregon Department of Transportation” one for $163,000 for the research “E-commerce Impacts on Oregon Household Level Deliveries, Trips, and VMT” and another for $70,000 for the research “Improving Guidance for Automated Speed Enforcement.”
 - James Hook, Associate Dean of Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science, received a $54,516 grant from the Oregon Department of Education for the research “Well-Rounded Computer Science (WRCS) Project.”
 - Jenny H. Liu, Urban Studies & Planning faculty & Assistant Director of Northwest Economic Research Center (NERC), received the 2023 Award of Excellence in Electronic Publications for “The Power of Music - An Economic Analysis of Oregon's Emerging Commercial Music Industry” on Oct. 16 at the Association for University Business and Economic Research annual conference in San Antonio, Texas.
 - Chistopher Monsere, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and Sirisha Kothuri, Civil & Environmental Engineering Senior Research Associate, received a $90,000 grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation for the research “Developing Guidance on Leading Pedestrian Intervals and Curb Extensions to Improve Pedestrian Safety at Signalized Intersections.”
 - Diane Moug and Arash Khosravifar, Civil & Environmental Engineering faculty, received a $296,278 grant from the National Science Foundation for the research “Collaborative Research: Efficacy and Durability of Microbially Induced Desaturation to Mitigate Liquefaction in Fine-grained Soils.” 
 - Diane Moug, Civil & Environmental Engineering faculty, received a $10,289 grant from the National Science Foundation for the research “RAPID: Collaborative Research: Subsurface Characterization of Liquefaction Case Histories from the 2023 Kahramanmaras Earthquake Sequence.”
 - James Pankow, Civil & Environmental Engineering faculty, received a $220,000 grant from the HHS National Institutes of Health for the research “Electronic Cigarettes: Emerging Ingredients, Acids, Toxicants, and Indicators of Non-Tobacco Nicotine.”

 - Chien Wern, Mechanical & Material Engineering faculty, received a $164,438 grant from the Oregon Institute of Technology for the research “OMIC: Spur Gear Testing.”
