Internship Programs

MECOP & CECOP
The Multiple Engineering Cooperative Program (MECOP) and Civil Engineering Cooperative Program (CECOP) are highly competitive five-year undergraduate programs that include two six-month paid internships.

EWX
Engineering Work Experience (EWX) is a structured internship program for undergraduate students in Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (MME) and Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE).

PCEP
The PSU/PDX Cooperative Education Program (PCEP) is a two year cooperative educational program in which Computer Science students work t one of our local PCEP Partner companies in a series of defined internship roles, while concurrently taking courses on-campus at PSU.

We offer dedicated services to help students transition from the classroom to the workplace - and for alumni looking to make a change. The Maseeh College offers expert guidance on resume writing, interviewing, using LinkedIn, working with recruiters, searching job boards, networking, public speaking and more!

Meet Frank Goovaerts
Director of Student Career Success
Frank Goovaerts joined Maseeh College in January 2012. He graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium and the University of Cincinnati with engineering degrees in Electro-Mechanical and Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining PSU Frank was Director of Engineering at Tektronix. Today Frank helps students bridge the gap between college and the workplace through personal appointments to review resumes and outline a personal career search strategy and by leading workshops for students and alumni. Frank hosts internship programs in the college including MECOP and Engineering Work Experience (EWX), manages a job board to help local companies staff their engineering needs with PSU students and graduates, and organizes various career events within the college.
