Kathie Godfrey received her Ed.D. from Portland State University in Educational Leadership: Postsecondary Education.
Her research interests are global learning outcomes in higher education, internationalization, foreign language pedagogy and assessment issues in foreign language learning. She coordinates the first-year and second-year German program and is Assistant Director of the Deutsche Sommerschule am Pazifik. She serves as Co-Chair of the WLL Assessment Committee. She is a member of the OUS Advisory Board for Study Abroad in Germany and is a certified Goethe-Institut examiner. Her extensive language teaching experience has included a variety of second and foreign language settings.
