Chiki was born in Hong Kong, but has been a loyal Oregonian since the age of seven. She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Psychology. Chiki was a social worker for over a decade as a Youth and Family Counselor, Youth Development Coordinator and a Foster Parent Recruiter/Certifier before switching to the administrative side. Chiki's other work experiences have included international trade, health care and construction before finding her home with PSU.
As the Administrative Program Assistant, Chiki strives to best serve the human resources needs for over 200 student employees at Campus Rec. With her experience in both social services and admin, Chiki is excited to provide direct program support to professional staff, serve as a leadership role in travel, purchasing, cash handling, trainings, and accounting responsibilities.
Chiki's spare time is devoted to family, her husband Rhett and her two children, Kyle and Abby. Chiki's family are all sport enthusiasts. If they are not participating, they're watching. Her favorite games these days are her son's baseball games and her daughter's soccer games. Other interests include traveling, jewelry making and finding good eateries in Portland with family and friends.
