To help students navigate the Credit for Prior Learning process, review the steps below.
Arrange for CPL Assessment
- Student contacts the academic department to determine if a course is eligible for CPL and will apply toward their degree.
- Student completes the CPL Form.
- Student pays the CPL fee at the Cashier's Office.
- Student returns the completed form, with "PAID" stamp from the Cashier's Office, to the department to arrange for the CPL assessment.
CPL Assessment and Grading
- Department administers the exam or portfolio assessment.
- Instructor or academic department completes the Grading section of the CPL form.
- The completed CPL form, is sent to the Registrar's Office for processing.
