Our departments and programs span the sciences and humanities, from biology to Black Studies, physics to philosophy, and German to geography.

Earn your bachelor’s degree where and when it’s convenient for you. We offer several fully online programs, including arts & letters, liberal studies, philosophy and social science. 

Your advisor can help you identify a major that suits you, understand your graduation requirements, create a degree plan and more. Remote and in-person appointments are available.

Pre-Teacher Education is a pre-professional track (not a major) that helps you on the path to becoming a K-12 teacher. Common majors for pre-ed students include arts & letters, social science, general science and liberal studies as well as subject-specific majors for those interested in teaching higher grades.

Pre-Health is a pre-professional track (not a major) that helps you on the path of pursuing a career in healthcare. PSU offers 14 pre-clinical health pathways, from pre-dentistry to pre-medicine, and Ignite, a leadership and mentorship program.

Pre-Law is a pre-professional track (not a major) that helps you on the path of pursuing a career in law. Whatever your major, you can add a minor in law and legal studies, which offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of law with electives in philosophy and history.

The new requirement ensures you're equipped with an understanding of how historically rooted and ongoing racism affects institutions in Oregon, the U.S. and the world. You can double-dip your courses to also fulfill major, minor, University Studies, Honors and/or elective requirements.

You must complete two college-level composition courses or their approved equivalents to graduate.

If you're completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), you must demonstrate proficiency in a second language that is normally attained after two years of college study to graduate.
