Sign Up for Orientation

STEP 2: Sign Up for Orientation

Once you have confirmed your enrollment, you should sign up for your preferred orientation date and time. It is recommended you sign up for the earliest orientation session you are able to attend. At Orientation, you will register for classes. By attending an earlier session, you will have a wider selection of classes to choose from during course registration.

Before Signing Up for Orientation:

  • Find your ODIN (student account) username
  • Know your intended major (what you hope to study when you arrive on campus): view the list of majors
  • Take the Math Placement Exam: Students with specified majors specified are required to complete the Math Placement Exam prior to signing up for Orientation. The only exception is if you have completed a college-level math course (level 100 or above) at a college or university within the past 12 months.
  • Gather names and email addresses of any guests who will be attending with you

Sign Up Instructions:

  • Log in to your account using your student account username and password
  • Select the date you plan to attend New Student Orientation. Remember, you must attend the full program. Sign up for the earliest date that works for your schedule.
  • An email confirming your sign-up will be sent to your @pdx.edu email address. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, contact us: orientation@pdx.edu.

Sign-ups for summer term dates open at 8:00 am on April 15, 2019. Sign-ups for fall term open at 9:00 am on May 8, 2019.
