Admission Application Fee Waiver

Undergraduate applicants may be eligible for a waiver of their $60 admission application fee. Based on the information you provide in your application, we will determine if you are eligible for a fee waiver. 

Eligibility

Meet at least one of these requirements:

  • You are enrolled in a free or reduced school lunch program
  • You are a current participant in a school or federally-funded program that supports underrepresented students at the school, college or university you currently attend (Examples include: TRIO, Upward Bound, Talent Search, Equal Opportunity Program, and Title VI Indian Education)
  • You are a recipient of Oregon or U.S. public assistance (food stamps only, or food stamps, cash, and medical assistance) 
  • You are eligible for a College Board or NACAC fee waiver
  • According to the FAFSA, your Student Aid Index (SAI) is less than $5,500
  • You are a Dislocated Worker
  • You are a current member or a veteran of the U.S. Armed Services
  • You are a ward of the state or an orphan
  • You have received, or are eligible to receive, an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver
  • You live in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home, or are currently homeless
  • Your annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service
  • PSU Sponsored Fee Waiver (University approved fee waiver for event attendance or documented exemption)

The application fee waiver program went into effect February 15, 2021. If you applied to PSU prior to that date or do not meet the eligibility requirements above you are not eligible for a fee waiver.

International Students

Applicants who are classified as international students are not eligible for a fee waiver unless preauthorized as part of an existing international partnership or special sponsorship agreement.
