Cancel Admission


If you are a current admitted applicant, have not registered for classes, and do not plan to attend Portland State University, you may cancel your application.


  • Canceling your admission may impact your financial aid award, including scholarships. Email Financial Aid directly to confirm the status of your aid.
  • Housing contracts must be canceled separately. Email Housing if you do not intend to enroll at PSU and live on campus in the future.  
  • Be aware that you are responsible for any university charges you may have incurred. You may sign in to your student account to review your charges.
  • If you have activated your student account, correspondence regarding enrollment may be sent to your email inbox. Be sure to check this account regularly or have your PSU emails forwarded to your personal account.
