Make an Appointment with Rob

Prospective students seeking guidance on how to navigate any aspect of the admission process are welcome to schedule appointments with Portland State admission counselors. You can choose to meet in-person, by phone, or in a virtual Zoom meeting. To view available appointments, select the green dates displayed on the calendar. All appointments are scheduled in Pacific time. 

If your counselor is not available, you can view all admissions counselor appointments and meet with another counselor.

Recruitment Territories:

  • First year students from Oregon counties: Coos, Curry, Douglas, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake
  • Transfer students from: Klamath Community College, Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech), Rogue Community College, Southern Oregon University, Southwestern Oregon Community College, Umpqua Community College
  • First year and transfer students from states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Washington (Clark College), Wisconsin, Wyoming

Rob was born and raised in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley. After starting his college education at Linn-Benton Community College, Rob transferred to Western Oregon University to complete his bachelor’s degree in History. During his time as a student at WOU, Rob was active in a variety of leadership opportunities and he made the decision to pursue a career in higher education. Upon earning his master’s degree in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University, Rob landed at Northwest College in Wyoming as an admissions counselor. Rob could not pass up the opportunity to return home and he worked in admissions at WOU for 23 years. Rob is thrilled to be part of the PSU community and to assist students with achieving their educational goals.
