Climate Action

In 2015, PSU became a founding signatory of Second Nature's Climate Commitment, combining a focus on carbon emissions accounting and planning for resiliency.

PSU was also one of over 600 signatories to the American College & University Presidents' Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), now known as Second Nature's Carbon Commitment. A major component of this commitment was the development of a campus-wide plan for achieving carbon neutrality. PSU is now working to implement actions that support our Climate Action Plan goal of carbon neutrality by 2040.
