Prospective students seeking guidance on how to navigate any aspect of the admission process are welcome to schedule appointments with Portland State admission counselors. You can choose to meet in-person, by phone, or in a virtual Zoom meeting. To view available appointments, select the green dates displayed on the calendar. All appointments are scheduled in Pacific time.

Recruitment Territories:
- First year and transfer students from Oregon counties: Clackamas, Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson
- Transfer students from state: Washington (Clark, Cowlitz, Pacific, Skamania, Wahkiakum counties)
Jennifer Beltran was born and raised on the Oregon Coast. In 2022, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Global Studies from the University of Oregon, with minors in Nonprofit Administration and Spanish. Through her lived experiences as a first-generation, low-income student and proud product of the public school system, Jennifer found her passion for working with underrepresented students. This passion was strengthened through her undergraduate involvements in MEChA, peer academic advising, and student internship at Portland Tennis & Education. She enjoys assisting students and families navigate the admissions process and expand their higher education knowledge. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys going on long walks, doing crafts, reading, visiting the coast, spending time with family and friends, and watching Gilmore Girls on repeat.
