Prospective students seeking guidance on how to navigate any aspect of the admission process are welcome to schedule appointments with Portland State admission counselors. You can choose to meet in-person, by phone, or in a virtual Zoom meeting. To view available appointments, select the green dates displayed on the calendar. All appointments are scheduled in Pacific time.

- First year and transfer students from Oregon counties: Clackamas, Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson
- Transfer students from state: Washington (Clark, Cowlitz, Pacific, Skamania, Wahkiakum counties)
Gema grew up in Tualatin before moving to Monmouth to pursue higher education. In 2022, she graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Health & Exercise Science and Education. After graduating, Gema worked for TRIO, where she discovered her passion for supporting students and realized she wanted to be a resource for others navigating the college experience. Helping students and families access the resources they need has always been a driving passion for Gema. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, yoga, or going to the gym, as well as taking walks on sunny days, spending time in nature, listening to Bad Bunny, and spending time with her friends and family—or most often, her cat.
