Prospective students seeking guidance on how to navigate any aspect of the admission process are welcome to schedule appointments with Portland State admission counselors. You can choose to meet in-person, by phone, or in a virtual Zoom meeting. To view available appointments, select the dates displayed on the calendar. All appointments are scheduled in Pacific time.

International undergraduate students and undergraduate students with international academic backgrounds
Eva Basile grew up in North Plains, Oregon, and started at PSU as an undergraduate in 2017. As a student, Eva was involved on campus through the International Student Mentor Program, as well as volunteering with students in the Intensive English Language Program. After graduating with her degree in Global Studies with a minor in Political Science, Eva studied abroad in Gwangju, South Korea through the Critical Language Scholarship Program. She returned to PSU to complete her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy: Postsecondary Adult and Continuing Education, during which she also worked as a Graduate Assistant in Enrollment Management. She then spent a year abroad in sunny Burgas, Bulgaria, where she taught high school English through the Fulbright Program, before returning to PSU.
In her free time, Eva enjoys volunteering with the Scandinavian community in Portland, baking, taking long walks through the Buckman neighborhood, and planning her next travel adventure.
